Huskies at Chicago Linguistics Society

Three UConn linguists are giving talks at the 53rd meeting of the Chicago Linguistics Society, held at the University of Chicago, May 25-27.

Emma Nguyen (UConn) and Lisa Pearl (UC Irvine) will give a talk titled "Linking lexical semantic profiles and the age of acquisition for the English passive".

Natasha Abner (Montclair), Helen Koulidobrova (UConn 2012, now Central Connecticut), Ronnie Wilbur (Purdue), and Sandra Wood (UConn 2013, now McDaniel College) will give a talk titled "Don't miss the BEAT!: Exceeds comparatives in American Sign Language".
